"Frida gör comeback"

Amennyire a svéd tudásom terjed, a jó öreg Frida egy újabb számmal áll elő, így 6 év után. Na nem ám újjal, persze. Ki ne ismerné azt az igencsak agyonjátszott számot, amit egy bizonyos Cat Stevens Morning Has Broken címmel játszott először. Hát most már nem 1000000 változata van, hanem 1000001. Sírjak vagy nevessek?

As far as my Swedish goes, good old Frida is on the return by one song, after 6 years. Not a new song, of course. Who doesn't know that rather over-played tune, which was sung first by a lad called Cat Stevens and is titled Morning Has Broken? Now there are 1000001 versions instead of 1000000. "Then I wonder, should I laugh or cry?"

New Jon Lord album - cover plagiary?

Egyik kedvenc előadóm, Jon Lord idén új lemezzel áll elő To Notice Such Things címmel, amelyen a Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra-val játszik együtt. Már egy ideje hallottam a projektről, de csak most néztem meg kicsit közelebbről, és elbámultam egy picit a lemezborítón -én ugyanis egy nagyon hasonlót alkottam (egy álmom hatására) mintegy 2 évvel ezelőtt.

A lemezbe egyébként itt bele lehet hallgatni, vagy a http://www.jonlord.org honlapon lehet infókat találni róla. Márciusban Magyarországra is jön Jon! (márc. 25, Győr) Aki teheti, ne hagyja ki, hihetetlen!

One of my top fav composers, Jon Lord is releasing a new recording this year, titled To Notice Such Things, on which he plays together with the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. I'd heard about the project some time ago, but only now did I have time to take a closer look and I was kind of astonished at the cover - it was me who had designed something of the sort a few years ago, inspired by a dream.
